Q. Who is QBi3®? 

A. QBi3® was founded to develop Web-based software that would enable businesses, government entities and non-profit organizations to produce dynamic Websites and interactive Web-based communities without the higher fees that programmers charge for outsourced customization.

Q. What is QBsoft®?

A. The software QBi3® developed, QBsoft®, incorporates many communications and Web-publishing processes into one comprehensive suite of Web-based software, allowing even novice computer users to create and manage limitless amounts of information from a central location online. QBsoft® has had organizations online using the product since March 2002.

Q. What are the connection requirements for QBsoft®?

A. QBsoft® can be accessed via any form of Internet connection (i.e. T1, ISDN, DSL, cable and dial-up). We recommend that you have a broadband connection to help enhance your productivity in managing Web content.

Q. Does this mean I can use my AOL® account?

A. AOL does not fully support the broad range of Internet standards, so it limits the ability to use some of the more sophisticated tools found in QBsoft®. For this reason, for QBsoft® Website owners we recommend the use of an ISP other than AOL. Please note that this applies only to QBsoft® administrators. The general public will be able to view your QBsoft® Website using any browser they choose.

Q. How is QBsoft® better than desktop software?

A. Unlike desktop software, QBsoft® is Web-based and reduces your IT costs by eliminating the need for installation on your computer. Regardless of the type of personal computer you use, you will be able to access QBsoft® just as you would any other Website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any Internet connected computer utilizing most Internet browsers. Unlike desktop software packages, QBsoft® feature enhancements are free, global and instantaneous.

Q. What are the system requirements for QBsoft®?

A. QBsoft® only requires Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6 (or higher) which is most likely already installed on your computer. However, as an administrator, QBsoft® has certain functions that are not fully supported through web browsers currently available through Macintosh Operating Systems. We advise Website owners who want to utilize QBsoft® to use a Windows-based personal computer for full functionallity. Please note that this applies only to QBsoft® administrators. The general public will be able to view your QBsoft® Website using just about any computer they use.

Q. Where is my data stored?

A. Your data is stored on servers in an environmentally controlled and secure facility at one of the world's premier managed hosting providers. Because QBi3's® hosting services include state-of-the-art physical security, fire suppression systems, and back-up generator power, you can rest assured that your data is protected.

Q. Is my data safe?

A. Information that is stored on our servers is strictly confidential. No one can access your information without your expressed permission as every QBsoft® user has a unique login and password with an authenticated e-mail address. Users can only access the data that you choose. QBi3® will not share, sell or otherwise distribute your information.

Q. How customizable is QBsoft®?

A. Many of the features found within QBsoft® are customizable. From your Website branding to custom applications created for you by QBi3®, QBsoft® allows you to make the system unique for your organization.
